Maria Brandon
Owner, MS, CCC-SLP
Maria is a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist who has a passion for working with children with special needs. Since relocating from New York to Las Vegas in 2009, Maria has worked in various settings, including CCSD, private practice, early intervention, and Touro University. Maria’s determination and steadfast desire to ensure the delivery of speech-language therapy is a delightful experience for children and their parents has proven to be effective and remains the goal for every child’s treatment program. Maria received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from CUNY/Queens College, and her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Adelphi University. Maria has training in PECS, P.R.O.M.P.T, and Play Therapy, as well as the AEIOU approach to feeding. Maria prides herself on pulling from all sources to provide each child with the most advantageous therapeutic approach, as each child is unique. Maria serves the community as a clinical supervisor for students in the speech-language pathology master’s program at Nevada State College who are receiving their clinical hours towards their licensure and ASHA certification. Maria is recognized as a preferred provider and specialist in children with Apraxia by Apraxia-Kids.org. Maria is an active member of IAOM and recognized by the State of Nevada Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board.
Yanitza Marmolejos
M.Ed, CCC-SLP
Yanitza Marmolejos graduated from Nevada State College with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including homes, private clinics, and elementary and middle schools. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She is skilled at providing therapy for various speech and language disorders, including articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, social/pragmatic language, fluency, and childhood apraxia of speech. Outside of work Yanitza enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, lifting weights, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Yanitza is ASHA certified and recognized by the State of Nevada Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board.


Gelela Fikre
M.Ed, CCC-SLP
Gelela graduated from UNLV with her bachelors in Healthcare Administration and Nevada State College with her masters of Education in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, articulation, language, fluency and feeding therapy. She is recognized by the State of Nevada Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board and is ASHA certified. Gelela also has a background in teaching English as a second language in China and providing services in the schools.She is also fluent in Amharic. Gelela has experience in working in a variety of settings including home health, private clinics, and elementary schools. Gelela is passionate about developing relationships with her clients and family members. Outside of work, Gelela enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and trying new things.
